The confirmation arrived the way most music news does now, through a photograph rather than a press release.
A studio shot surfaced showing Elyanna with the masked Egyptian musician Tul8te and his longtime collaborator, producer Moataz Maady. The Palestinian-Chilean singer will feature on Tul8te’s forthcoming album, “Sadeeq Albernameg.”
The photo followed a surprise teaser for the record, in which Tul8te enlisted veteran Egyptian radio host Osama Mounir. No release date has been announced.
Two very different routes to the same room
On paper the pairing is a study in opposites. Elyanna is one of the most visible faces in Arab pop and is photographed constantly. Tul8te performs in a white knit mask and has built his profile on not being seen.
Elyanna, 24, was born in Nazareth and is now based in Los Angeles. Her sound puts Arabic lyrics over Latin and Western rhythms, a fusion that traces directly back to her upbringing.
In April 2023 she became the first Palestinian artist to perform a full Arabic-language set at Coachella in California, using the stage to spotlight an Arab designer and describing the moment as introducing new culture. Her debut album “Woledto” arrived a year later, and she framed it as the embodiment of pride in being an Arab woman, in being from Nazareth, in being from the Middle East.
Released through Universal Arabic Music, the record carried her into a world tour, a debut on “The Late Show” and a Lollapalooza set. She later appeared on Coldplay’s single “We Pray” and performed it live with the band in Dublin.
A busy 2026
This year has been dense even by her standards. American fashion house Coach named her the face of its spring campaign and then its Ramadan campaign. In May she joined the official FIFA World Cup 2026 album on “Illuminate” with Canadian singer Jessie Reyez, and on June 12 she performed at Canada’s opening World Cup match in Toronto, on a bill with Alanis Morissette, Michael Buble and Alessia Cara.
Which makes her a substantial get for an album from an artist who has been releasing music for barely three years.
The masked half of the collaboration
Tul8te emerged on the Egyptian scene in 2023 with a sound that mixes pop, bossa nova and psychedelic rock. He released the album “Narein” in 2025 and opened 2026 with the single “Seneen.”
The mask has done a lot of work for him, keeping attention on the records rather than the face. Bringing in a collaborator whose face is currently on fashion campaigns and World Cup stages is a notable break from that, and it will be worth hearing which version of Elyanna the album uses: the arena-scale one, or something closer to the psychedelic register Tul8te tends to work in.
