South African DJ Black Coffee, Liverpool duo CamelPhat and Afro-tech producer Shimza will play three consecutive nights at the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in December. The sets take place at the 16/360 venue at Yas Marina Circuit from Friday, December 4, to Sunday, December 6, during the race weekend that closes the 2026 season.
Shimza opens the run on December 4 and CamelPhat play on December 5, with Black Coffee closing the series on race day. The sets are part of Yasalam, the entertainment programme run by Ethara Live, and are open only to holders of 16/360 The Terrace Collection or The Circle at 16/360 tickets. David Powell, chief portfolio and strategy officer at Ethara Live, said the aim was to “make Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix week an unforgettable experience”. Black Coffee, whose real name is Nkosinathi Maphumulo, won the 2022 Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Album with Subconsciously. His tracks include Drive with David Guetta and Delilah Montagu, The Rapture Pt. III and Never Gonna Forget with Diplo and Elderbrook. CamelPhat, the Liverpool production duo of Dave Whelan and Mike Di Scala, reached a wide audience with their 2017 single Cola, recorded with Elderbrook, which earned a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording, topped the US Billboard Dance Club Songs chart and went multi-platinum. Shimza, a South African DJ and producer known for Afro-tech, has held a residency at Pacha Ibiza and played Tomorrowland, with tracks including Fire, Fire and Places.
The DJ nights sit alongside the after-race concerts at Etihad Live, formerly Etihad Park, which are open to Grand Prix ticket holders. Lewis Capaldi and Zara Larsson perform on December 3, Alex Warren and a second headliner yet to be named on December 4, Imagine Dragons on December 5, and The Chainsmokers and The Script on December 6. Andrea Bocelli brings his Romanza tour to Etihad Arena on December 2 as the first Yasalam Classics event, and Anyma headlines the official after-party at Yas Gateway Park on December 4.
Race weekend runs from December 3 to 6. Grand Prix tickets are on sale through the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix website and Ticketmaster, and Golden Circle upgrades give concert-goers priority access closer to the stage. Access to the three DJ sets is sold separately through the 16/360 hospitality packages rather than general admission tickets.
