KHARTOUM: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center recently distributed 1,681 food baskets to displaced families and returnees in Khartoum state, Sudan, benefiting 11,327 people as part of the 2026 Madad Project in the country.

The aid agency also distributed 400 personal care kits to the most vulnerable groups in the Hadjer-Lamis region of Chad, reaching 2,400 people under its 2026 personal care kit distribution project there.

Elsewhere, the center handed out 377 food baskets to returnees from neighbouring countries, internally displaced people, families in need, and orphans in Afghanistan’s Balkh province, benefiting 2,639 people as part of the 2026 food security and emergency support project in Afghanistan.

The assistance forms part of the Kingdom’s broader humanitarian and relief efforts to support vulnerable people around the world.
