Dubai Miracle Garden Opens 15th Season With More Than 200 Million Flowers

Dubai Miracle Garden has reopened for its 15th season with more than 200 million flowers on display and, for the first time, a new theme every week. The 72,000 square metre attraction will stay open until May 31, 2027, under the season title Fifteen Years, Blooming Together.

The weekly themes follow the UAE’s national and cultural calendar. The opening months include events for Pink October, United Nations Day, UAE Flag Day and Diwali, with musical performances and family entertainment scheduled alongside them. Fitness sessions will be organised as part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, and special programmes are planned for Commemoration Day and Eid Al Etihad.

Sheikh Theyab bin Tahnoon, chairman of Miracle Group, opened the season. “For 15 seasons, Dubai Miracle Garden has grown alongside Dubai and its people,” he said. He dedicated this year’s edition to the community behind the garden, in particular the families and residents who come back each year.

The flower count is a sharp rise on last season, when the garden showed more than 150 million blooms and added a children’s area with a miniature train and bumper cars. Visitors can see more than 150 flower varieties and a series of large floral structures, several of them recognised by Guinness World Records. Returning favourites include the Emirates A380 installation, a Guinness World Record holder made from more than 500,000 flowers and plants, as well as the Smurfs Village and the Floating Lady sculpture.

The garden first opened in 2013 and has since welcomed millions of visitors, most of them during the cooler months. It is open every day from 9am to 9pm. Tickets cost Dh100 for visitors older than 12 and Dh80 for children aged 3 to 12, while children under 3 enter free. The reopening comes as other outdoor attractions across the UAE, including Global Village and Sharjah Safari, prepare for their winter seasons.
